Launched in 2012, Artemix is a Portuguese online urban handicraft marketplace, where artisans can use its e-commerce platform to display and sell thousands of exclusive handmade products.
A year after its launch, Artemix already had a community of more than 100 artisans, who together provided over 2000 handmade products in several categories: jewelry, decoration, toys, furniture, clothing, bags, candles, vintage products, among many others.
Its slogan says it all: "Handicraft from A to Z" ... and the truth is that those who create handmade pieces can easily reach a wide audience with a growing taste for this kind of product, since Artemix provides three different types of virtual stores, allowing the artisan to choose the one that best fits their business.
In addition to handicraft, Artemix also offers dynamic content such as tutorials that can serve as creative inspiration, both for those thinking about taking up urban handicraft, or for those already used to creating crafts and are simply looking for new ideas in the handmade world.
BloomIdea was responsible for the entire project development – technological and visual – as well as ensuring its communication and promotion. Despite its relatively short history, Artemix’s originality and success has made it newsworthy and it has already been highlighted in such prestigious media such as Dinheiro Vivo, iOnline and Revista Invest, as well as television appearances on Porto Canal and Localvisão TV.
