Ecopilhas

Ecopilhas

After an extensive search, Ecopilhas, the entity responsible for the management of battery recycling in Portugal, selected BloomIdea for the development of an
Android and iOS app, aiming to modernize and make battery recycling easier and, in that way, protect the environment.

The Ecopilhas app allows you to find the nearest ‘Pilhão’ collection point through the user’s location, receive information about batteries, protect the environment through the request of ‘Pilhões’ for workplaces, neighborhoods or ‘Mini Pilhões’ for the user’s home, point out problems with a ‘Pilhão’ through filling a form and sending a photo through the app, consult frequently asked questions and visit the Facebook page.

More than a success case added to the portfolio, BloomIdea is proud to have helped in this initiative for environmental protection!
