Medflash - Studying medicine was never this easy!

Studying medicine is not an easy task, but Medflash helps. It is an application for iOS and Android, aimed at students and health professionals, which presents itself as a study aid. The goal? To help users optimize their study time.

Over the years, the design of the application became obsolete and the developed backoffice was no longer effective in what the management of content, users and prices was concerned. Medflash then resorted to BloomIdea to develop a more intuitive backoffice and aesthetically modernize the application.

When a user registers in the application, he can immediately access a restricted range of free content. However, in order to gain full access to one of the study modules, the user subscribes the access to the module in question for a year. The Medflash platform was then automated: when payment is made by Credit Card, PayPal, or ATM reference, the content is unlocked and an invoice is generated and sent to the customer. BloomIdea has made the integration with InvoiceXpress and Ifthenpay to simplify the whole process.

The study modules are organized into chapters, which allow the phased study through reading and memorization (flashcards). In order to test the acquired knowledge, the user can also analyze the clinical cases proposed for each module, or answer questions appropriate to the model of evaluation of the tests (the user can choose the option Exams). This allows him to create personalized exams to check the knowledge he has acquired). The student progress can be monitored through the statistical area, which aggregates the results obtained with clinical cases, flashcards and readings.

The app's backoffice now allows the management of content (free and paid), users, products, prices, discount coupons, and subscriptions, including a content import tool that allows the creation of content from the upload of a .cvs file. To accompany the app, BloomIdea also developed a landing page presenting the service.

Thanks to Medflash and BloomIdea's work, medicine students now have an intuitive and modern app that will help them achieve the results they desire.
