BIG smart cities by Vodafone and Ericsson

Great projects need great teams! This is why Vodafone Power Lab trusted BloomIdea to renew its international web platform for the BIG smart cities project, for the 2016 edition and as a basis for future editions, making it much more dynamic, modern and adapted to their needs.

BIG smart cities is a joint project by Vodafone Power Lab and Ericsson to create and reward international start-ups, with the goal of generating innovative ideas and technologies for smart cities, divided into 4 smart areas, which improve the citizens' experience. After a first phase of applicants, users select the 20 best finalists, who will compete for votes until the big winner is elected.

The new platform custom-made by BloomIdea is not only completely responsive, but also includes several customized features, namely a voting system with automatic sending of codes by SMS for vote validation, back-office with a personalized newsletter system and automatic updating of the site by project phase, individual micro-sites for each finalist with access to a blog, among other specialized solutions.
